Douglas County Dirtrack Offers $1,000-to-Win Modified Feature May 15
ROSEBURG, Ore. (May 11, 2026) — Douglas County Dirtrack is set to raise the stakes this Friday, May 15, with increased payouts for its Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing divisions.
Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win in a Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational qualifier. The winner will be added to the eligibility list for a chance to compete in the invitational at the 2026 Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway.
Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods will also be in action, racing for a $500 top prize.
The promotion follows an exciting season opener at the Roseburg oval. Matt Sanders scored his first career IMCA Modified victory after an incredible battle with Grey Ferrando, with the two drivers trading momentum in a thrilling fight for the top spot.
In IMCA SportMod competition, 17-year-old Vinny DeBenedetti delivered one of the most exciting moments of the night, charging from fifth to the lead on a restart to capture the victory.
Adult tickets are $15, while seniors (55+), kids ages 13–17, and military are $10. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Pit passes are $40. The pit meeting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., with hot laps beginning around 6:00 p.m.
Located on the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg and just off Interstate 5, Douglas County Dirtrack continues to provide fans with competitive racing and memorable moments.
